Permalink Reply by Swipe on September 20, 2009 at 1:25am I'm actually quite disappointed in this album. Usually 80% of the tracks are great but this album only has me enjoying ... 30%. Maybe 5 or 6 tracks that I can see myself bumpin; that's a generous number. Matter of fact one song sounds like a rip off the the melody of Skatterman & Snug Brim's Carwash.
Permalink Reply by twicked on September 21, 2009 at 3:23pm That one song you talkin about "Street Life" .. The original song "Street Life" was a 57th Street Rogue Villian song off of their first album "It's On Now", which came out in 1999.. The song on "Monsterifik" is basically an updated version of that song from "It's On Now". So I guess technically "Car Wash" is a rip off of that melody actually.
